Overall I'am satisfied with my stay in Fernloft and will definitely go back there.
I like how accommodating the staff is. All our concerns/needs were attended propoerly. I also like the location because it is accessible to mrt and bus.

The staff was very friendly.
Room was very cold and my bed did not have curtains. They also did not receive my request for lower bunc. Also its hard to spot this hostel in HDB.

NOT A GOOD PLACE TO STAY!
I only like the guests! They were helpful and kind. Not related with the hostel though.
Before I booked the room, it shows "free breakfast", but when I arrived there, the receptionist said that it isn't included anymore since they lower down their rate, please re check what you've posted online so on budget travellers wouldn't expect much. Well, other hostels has free breakfast and drinking water with the same rate. It wasn't really clean when I was there. I didn't even want to leave my footwears outside since there is no proper shoe racks provided where you can keep your shoes properly. You will never see the receptionist in the lobby area, unless someone will tell you where he is (so you have to look for him outside ) or someone will call him for you. There are just a lot of people getting in your room, you wouldn't know who they are. So you would really think twice if your things are safe there. It's the first and only hostel I stayed who couldn't even provide socket extension for the guests. I am just so thankful that my roomate lent me hers. It's not comfortable to stay there. There wasn't even basic toiletries provided like shampoo or body soap.

The staff are friendly and he can help u as possible as he can, whenever u need help. The best I like about this hostel is the perfect location, so near to the famous places and easy to go and also I think the price is resonable for visitors.
